This biography tells the story of one of the greatest Bible teachers of all time. George Campbell Morgan (1863-1945) was converted to Christ under the influence of D.L. Moody. Moody’s ministry made such an impression on the young Morgan, that at the age of thirteen he preached his first sermon. Morgan later became a Congregationalist minister, pastored the Westminster Chapel in London, assumed the position of director of the Northfield Bible Conference after Moody’s death, and taught weekly Friday night Bible classes, which were attended by thousands.
His prolific output of sermons and commentaries is still loved and used daily throughout the world, but his paramount contribution to the Christian faith lay in teaching the Bible and showing people how to study it for themselves.
