Marvin Michael hold BS and MS degrees in aeronautical engineering from the University of Michigan. In his 35 years at Boeing, he held jobs from office boy to test pilot. he earned the Silver C soaring badge and is a Hall of Fame member of the OX5 Aviation Pioneers. He flew an airplane as a pilot-in-command after his 80th birthday, becoming a member of the United Flying Octogenarians.
