About Herbert Lockyer, Sr.:
HERBERT LOCKYER, Sr. (1886-1984) was born in London, England. he was educated there and in Glasgow, Scotland and was honored by Northwestern Evangelical Seminary with a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1937. His varied pulpit ministry included 25 years of pastorates in Scotland and England, 10 years of a lecturing ministry in the United States under the auspices of the Moody Bible institute, and 15 years of Bible conference speaking in the United States and Canada.
As a prolific writer with unusual expository gifts, Herbert Lockyer wrote more than 50 books, including his famous All series of Bible study and reference works.
